I tell stories.
Here’s mine.
Jordan Winter is a multimedia journalist and proud member of the Cherokee Nation. Her work lives at the intersection of storytelling, culture, and cuisine.
Jordan is the creative director of Avant Food Media, has anchored video series such as No Free Lunches and Lawrence Times TV, and served as a judge for the James Beard Awards and Azbee Awards.
She’s interviewed the architect who designed dispensaries for Rae-Kwon from Wu-Tang Clan, an Iranian father who converted a gas station into the best falafel market in Kansas, the organizers behind an Indigenous gathering to break down two bison and host a community cookout, and more.
Guided by her Native heritage and expertise in food, Jordan wants to share the history, experiences, and resilience that shape our world.

Personal Development 🌅
People describe me as friendly, curious, and adventurous. I’m always trying to expand my comfort zone.
